This Memorial Day weekend, the annual Movement Festival will be taking place in Detroit. The Detroit electronic music festival began in 2000, and evolved into the Movement Festival beginning in 2006, which has been an annual celebration throughout Metro Detroit ever since.
Each year, DJs and producers create an unforgettable festival in which thousands join to dance, listen to live music, and celebrate Memorial Day weekend in Detroit’s Hart Plaza. This year will be no different, as people from around the world will embark to Detroit to experience the birthplace of Techno.
The Movement Festival takes place from Saturday May 26 – Monday May 28 and is open to individuals of all ages.
